FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND?

Registration and attendance is FREE for all participants, including participating and prospective Four Diamonds Mini-THON schools.

HOW MANY PEOPLE PER SCHOOL CAN ATTEND?

A maximum of 8 individuals can attend from each school, including the advisors. If you would like to bring more than 8 people, please email minithoninfo@pennstatehealth.psu.edu to have your name put on a waiting list. 

WHO FROM OUR SCHOOL SHOULD ATTEND?

It is recommended that at least one advisor attend from each school. Most schools choose to bring members of their incoming Mini-THON leadership committee.  Elementary schools should only bring advisors. 

WILL FOOD BE PROVIDED?

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants. If you have any specific dietary needs, please be sure to list them when you register.  

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Nothing! Four Diamonds will provide training materials for the breakout sessions as well as breakfast and lunch.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Please come decked out in your favorite Mini-THON outfit and Four Diamonds gear.  The more colorful the better!

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED?

Besides the registration information for all individuals representing your school, we ask that you send any pictures and videos from your Mini-THON. We will play videos and a slideshow of pictures throughout the day. Photos and video links can be submitted to minithoninfo@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to Hershey Lodge.

WHAT IF OUR ADVISOR IS UNABLE TO ATTEND?

Students ages 15 and above may attend without an adult.  Students between 13 and 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

WHAT DO WE DO IF SOMEONE HAS TO LEAVE EARLY?

Please let the Four Diamonds staff know if any individuals must leave before the end of the Leadership Summit at 4:00 p.m.
