Thank you for considering a donation to MCMS's Mini-THON!
Manheim Central Middle School is proud to follow in the footsteps of the Penn State IFC Panhellenic Dance Marathon. We are currently gearing up for our 3rd annual Mini-THON! Over the past two years, MCMS students have shown incredible heart, participating in events to raise over $15,000 for this incredibly important cause! This year, we are looking to double our total donation from the past two years put together, providing even more support for an amazing cause like the Four Diamonds Fund.
We asked students why Mini-THON is important to them, and we got some incredible responses. We'd like to share how students feel about being involved with a cause like the Four Diamonds Fund.
"Mini-THON was a great experience that I was proud to be a part of."
"I like that there are so many different options to enjoy while celebrating the fact that you helped someone out that day."
"I really liked Mini-THON because it is one of my favorite times to meet new people and to try new games and activities."
"I believe that [raising money] is important because some days we don't realize how many kids are struggling every day with this disease. Mini-THON will help these kids come one step closer to being healed."
"One of the things I enjoyed the most was the feeling that you've helped someone who desperately needed your help. You should go to Mini-THON because it helps people in need, and it makes you feel amazing knowing that you've possibly saved somoene's life!"
MCMS: Fighting for Children. Fighting Against Cancer.
Manheim Central students are joining more than 70,000 students in a powerful movement to conquer childhood cancer.
Childhood cancer is the leading disease killer of children with 16,000 kids in the U.S. diagnosed every year. But we are working to change this reality with Four Diamonds and their mission to conquer childhood cancer through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
With the help of people like you, Four Diamonds supports more than 80 pediatric oncology research professionals who are learning more about how cancer forms, how it can be treated and how treatments can be more effective. This cutting-edge research will benefit children around the world.
