The Montclair High School Mini-THON® 2017 participants are joining more than 70,000 students in a powerful movement to conquer childhood cancer. MHS was encouraged to create our own Mini-THON by a senior at PSU, and alumna of Montclair High School, who has been involved with THON at Penn State for the past four years. This year she was chosen to be a dancer at THON and stood for 46 hours to take a stand against pediatric cancer. MHS was inspired by her efforts and are excited to work with Four Diamonds to conquer pediatric cancer.
Join us on March 31st directly after school at 2:33pm at the front circle of MHS, for our first MHS Mini-THON Pie Throw Fundraiser. Students will be able to throw pies at their favorite teachers, in order to promote our Mini-THON and raise awareness of the work Four Diamonds completes. In the U.S., more children die from cancer than any other disease, with 16,000 kids diagnosed every year. But we are working to change this reality with Four Diamonds and their mission to conquer childhood cancer through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research.
With the help of people like you, Four Diamonds supports more than 80 pediatric oncology research professionals who are learning more about how cancer forms, how it can be treated and how treatments can be more effective. This cutting-edge research will benefit children around the world.
