Conquering Childhood Cancer

This year, Elizabethtown Area High School is unable to hold our annual MiniTHON to conquer childhood cancer due to the uncertainty of Covid-19. Even though our event can not take place, I am still pleased to invite you to become a fundraiser for our club. Everyone who raises $30 by May 31st will receive a mystery bag filled with goodies! The top 5 fundraisers will receive an extra special prize! Last year, Penn State University, with the help of local school districts like Elizabethtown, raised over $17 million through its THON and Mini-THON programs for the Four Diamonds Fund. Elizabethtown Area High School alone raised over $85,000 with the help of students, their families, and local businesses. Student participation is  more critical this year, since most of our fundraisers have been cancelled. Our goal this year is to raise at least $20,000, but we are hopeful that we can still far exceed this goal with your support.

The Four Diamonds story originated in Elizabethtown with a former student who battled childhood cancer here at our school. The THON and Mini-THON initiatives are dance marathons that raise money for this worthwhile cause. With our indelible link to the Four Diamonds story, we are proud to participate in this fundraiser. We hope that you’ll take this chance to benefit this worthy cause as well. If you have any questions, please contact our advisor, Ken Boland at:

We can’t do it without the help of all of our sponsors, and we can assure you that any amount donated makes a difference to Pennsylvania families affected by pediatric cancer.

Sincerely,
EAHS Mini-THON
