Taking Steps to Conquer Childhood Cancer

About the Lions Virtual 5K

Lace up your shoes and join fellow Lions, family members, and friends for our first-ever Lions Virtual 5K benefitting Four Diamonds. Together, we will take steps to conquer childhood cancer and spread hope around the world.

Participants can choose to complete the 5K on any date, at any time, and from anywhere in the world during the weekend-long event. Contributions made to the Lions Virtual 5K will help to ensure that kids who face cancer in the future have everything they need -- including financial support, expert medical care and advances through life-saving research.

Getting Started:
  1. Register TODAY (as a team or individual) - IT'S FREE!
  2. Personalize and share your giving page
  3. Invite others to join/support your efforts
  4. Take steps to conquer childhood cancer

Registration is FREE, but we encourage all participants to raise at least $100 in order to receive a Four Diamonds swag bundle including a drawstring bag, a Lions “Care – For The Kids®” specialty pin, and a lanyard.

PLUS - All registered participants will receive a virtual racer's bib that they can download and print prior to the weekend-long event.

About Four Diamonds:

In the U.S., more children die from cancer than any other disease. Four Diamonds’ mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting kids treated at Penn State Children's Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research.

Each year, Four Diamonds provides direct support to approximately 500 families a year – 100 who are newly diagnosed and 400 who are continuing their fight. Since its creation in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped nearly 4,000 children and families and supported a diverse platform of childhood cancer research at Penn State Children's Hospital, seeking improved treatments and cures to benefit those around the world.
