Flocking is a new fundraiser for the Pen Argyl School District’s 2023 Mini-THON. The idea of flocking is that each week (for about 5 weeks) 3 people will have an explosion of flamingos in their yard. No, it did not just rain flamingos, you have been flocked! You can leave the birds for 5 days or pay $20 dollars to not only remove the flamingos, but also to send them to another unsuspecting victim! You can send these birds to friends, family, neighbors—spread them all throughout the Pen Argyl School District to help us spread awareness of Mini-THON’s fight to help end childhood cancer. Additionally, if you are not interested in getting flocked you can pay a $15 dollar insurance fee to have those elegant birds never cross your lawn again. There will be a sign on your lawn that has the Mini-THON symbol and another with a QR code so that if you want to join in our fight and donate to the event—you can!
Take pictures with your flamingos that have rudely interrupted your fine morning and tag our Mini-THON social media accounts! Instagram: paahsminithon and Twitter: paahs_minithon. We would love to see how the Pen Argyl Mini-THON is reaching you and your neighborhood!
Additional Information about the Insurance Policy
Flocking is supposed to be a chaotic mess that brings notice to our cause but it can also be a nuisance to your front lawn. To ensure that you will never have to worry about waking up to a flamboyance of flamingos you can pay a small fee of $15.
Note: Donations made on Donor Drive cannot be refunded.

Participants of the Pen Argyl HS Flocking Fundraiser 2023 are joining more than 90,000 students across the country to help conquer childhood cancer.
In the U.S., 16,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year – that’s two classrooms of kids every day. Dollars raised by Pen Argyl HS Flocking Fundraiser 2023 support some of the latest breakthroughs in childhood cancer research. Having a better understanding of how cancer works will help Four Diamonds’ researchers develop new, more effective treatments to test through clinical trials and save more lives.
Your support also ensures that every Four Diamonds child, regardless of income, receives the highest quality of childhood cancer care without ever seeing a bill for that care.
