For the fourth year in a row, I am taking a stand against childhood cancer by joining my school community and over 90,000 other students to help raise money for Mini-THON. This year I am beyond excited to say that I am a co-head with my school's Mini-THON and I am putting forth all my effort to raise as much money as I can. My personal fundraising goal this year is to raise 1,500 dollars and Lancaster Country Day's fundraising goal is to raise 25,000 dollars, which will all be donated to Four Diamonds. Every penny collected goes towards this amazing organization and helps kids fight cancer. With your help, we will be able to find a cure and raise awareness! I am extremely proud to be a part of this awesome effort.
In the U.S., more children die from cancer than any other disease, with over 16,000 kids diagnosed every year. But Four Diamonds ensures that every child they treat, regardless of income, receives the highest quality of cancer care without ever seeing a bill for that care.
Mini-THON is an organization that is run by students who are determined to help the lives of families and children impacted by this awful disease. The money raised goes to funding financial and emotional support, and to spread awareness to medical research. Four Diamonds also supports the latest breakthroughs in research to benefit children around the world. Having a better understanding of how cancer works will help Four Diamonds’ researchers develop new, more effective treatments to test through clinical trials and save more lives.
But Four Diamonds needs your help to conquer childhood cancer. Please support my efforts to save more kids fighting cancer by making a donation today. Every penny counts!
