Four-year-old Rosalyn has been fighting cancer for the past year. A persistent cough led to a diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on November 17, 2019 – a day that Rosalyn’s mom Emily will never forget.
Emily says their world was forever changed that day but being a Four Diamonds family has been a blessing in disguise. “Four Diamonds has given me the love and support that I’ve needed when times were extremely tough. I have not received a single medical bill for Rosalyn’s cancer care because Four Diamonds covers all of it. Their team also goes above and beyond to support our entire family. I think my most memorable experience was when Child Life had characters from Frozen visit the kids. Rosalyn was so overjoyed, and I will never forget the smile on her face – it was just what we all needed.”
Emily says that no matter what is thrown at Rosalyn, she always conquers it like a true hero. After enduring numerous chemotherapy treatments and multiple bone marrow biopsies, Rosalyn has been in remission since March 9, 2020. She will get to “ring the bell” to celebrate the end of her cancer treatment in March 2022. Until then, Rosalyn’s family remains strong, thanks to the support of the Four Diamonds community and organizations like the Pennsylvania Lions who have made it part of their mission to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer.
The Lions of Pennsylvania are standing up to their motto: "We Serve," by assisting Four Diamonds in its mission to conquer childhood cancer. Through their PA Lions "Care - For The Kids™ project, they are raising crucial funds that support Four Diamonds in providing world-class care, transformative philanthropy and life-saving research.
We hope you will consider contributing to their efforts to make a difference in the lives of children, like Rosalyn, fighting cancer and ensure that "Where There's a Need, There's a Lion."
