My school is, once again, hosting a Mini-THON this year! Even though the event will have to be virtual due to the COVID-19 Virus, I am still super pumped to be participating in it, especially as the Event Coordination Chair this year!
Mini-THON is a giant party that takes place at a school where students come go twelve hours without sitting to help raise money for pediatric cancer research and treatment! During these hours we dance, and have tournaments and games for the school/dancers. This year, the event will have to be cut a lot shorter, but we are still ready to have the party of our lives.
Mini-THON was such a great experience in the previous years and I have had so much fun watching the event come together. I have been serving on the Event Coordination for the past four years and I have enjoyed helping run the event and games and just watching the whole thing come together. Now as a senior, it makes me sad that this will be my last year, but it just makes me want this year to be best Mini-THON yet!
Last year, we raised about $39,000! This year our goal is $15,000! Please help me reach my personal goal of $200!! You can donate as little as a dollar or as much as you please, I will so very much appreciate whatever you have to offer! This cause is so incredibly important to me, and I simply am hoping to improve the lives of those burdened with cancer at a such a young age. It would mean the world to me to be able to help and give to people who need the money more than me.
