Hello Friends and Family!
A group of State College locals supported by Herlocher's Dipping Mustard are taking a stand against childhood cancer by joining more than 90,000 Mini-THON® students who are fundraising for Four Diamonds.
Background
A Group of local businessmen came across an unusual, but unique idea to unite both town and gown to add some fun spirit for the annual fundraising journey for THON/Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State.
The aging group, Neil Herlocher, Jay Paterno, Brian Allen, Charles Driscoll, Mike Flanagan, Fred Egerer, Mike Hughes, Ara Kervandjian and Kerry Small, Vi decided to take the idea and run with it.
Now, a few months later, the team will be competing in the National Toboggan Championship or the Camden Snow Bowl in Camden, Maine, to represent Happy Valley and THON/Four Diamonds Fund.
AND THEY NEED YOUR SUPPORT (thoughts and prayers for their aging bodies, but most importantly donations FOR THE KIDS!

Toboggan National Championship Details:
- Called the Camden Snow Bowl, is hosted in Camden, Maine
- Training begun August 2017
- Training concludes the end of January 2018.
- The team departs on Wednesday, February 8, 2018 for the National Championship in Camden, Maine
- Thursday (Feb. 8) and Friday (Feb 9.) the team arrives and practices, work out the kinks
- First Day of Race: Saturday, February 10, 2018
- Second Day of Race: Sunday, February 11, 2018
